Our mini-vacation this summer was to Paso Robles (central coast wine country) and from there some day trips to the coast. Mia's been to more wineries than probably any other 3 year old, though sometimes she and NaiNai stay back and hang out at the R.V. Other times they enjoy the surroundings while Papa and I enjoy the vino.
So soon, though, the summer is over and it is back to school/day care time. I know, there's still plenty of summer left, but tomorrow is the first day of school here (way too early, if you ask me), so the end of summer is here.
What a fun time it was!

Funny story here...Mia hates dirt/sand. HATES. She'll walk on it, but reluctantly, and does NOT want it to touch her or vice versa. She will play with sand toys, as long as she's sitting on the edge of a towel/blanket, and she only has to touch the toys, not the sand. She does like us to carry her to the water, but has never wanted to touch it. On this trip, though, I somehow figured out that she's just fine with the water/waves, but just doesn't want to touch the sand underneath. She had lots of fun playing in the waves with me holding her an inch or two above the sand. She didn't even mind the waves getting her all wet. Needless to say, this game doesn't last very long as you can see it is not the most comfortable position for me. She, though, had a great time, minus the sand.
HEy Girl, glad to hear from you on my comments!!! I wondered where you were.....hope you got the emails i sent, i guess you are a busy working mama now! Chat soon, new pics of Mia please!
