My school's theme for this year's Read Across America Night was a local author's book,
Moonshine, a non-fiction book about a search and rescue bloodhound. The doggy hats and face painting were cute, though Mia wasn't thrilled with the hat idea. She did comply for one picture. Unlike the other kids, she wasn't thrilled with a big live dog so up close and personal either. She loves the book she won, though.
