Children's Museum and Goats

Time has surely flow by as it is almost the end of March already. Before you know it spring break will be here, then the last day of school, and summer again! Saturday was Mia's 8 month anniversary of Gotcha Day. It has already been 2/3 of a year. It'll be a year in no time!

Last weekend we visited the local children's museum. Mia liked riding in all the different vehicles there. We were surprised to see a friend there at the same time. The museum is 45 minutes from our house, so it was a nice coincidence that C.J. was there too.

Yesterday, we visited my brother's house. His pygmy goat had two babies. We got to see them when they were just 24 hours old. It took Mia a few minutes to warm up to them, but soon she was letting the mama goat eat out of her hand. They are nice friendly goats and a perfect size for two year olds.

Sorry it took so long to post. I have actually been posting for a friend who just got back from China. You can read about all of her adventures in the blog "with grace and gratitude" that's linked on the right hand side of this blog. Her baby NiNi is having open-heart surgery tomorrow, so we'll all be thinking and praying for her. If you have a chance, stop by her blog. We can't wait to meet Miss Olivia! Every day while they were gone, Mia would talk about "Bonnie (the mom), Baby NiNi, China," using those exact words. We're glad they're back!

Mia's friend C.J. She's about 9 months older than him, but he's got at least 15 pounds on her.
