Christmas Memories

Christmas 2010 was a memorable one, especially with the 3+ hour black out right around dinnertime.  From 5:00-8:00 P.M. we had no power.  Luckily, the men in our clan did their manly thing, hooked up generators, cooked on a BBQ, and even got a big fluorescent light going, all in the pouring rain.  Meanwhile, we had a great time.  Dinner was late, but great.
Mia had a great time opening presents.  She understood what Christmas, Santa, etc. were all about.  That being said, she was more interested in breakfast when she woke up, than what Santa had put in her stocking.  A nice thing about being little, though, is that after every present she opened, she wanted to stop and play with it for 20-30 minutes.  Much nicer than the tearing through gifts as quickly as possible which is sure to come in following years.
