It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas!

The Christmas season is so much more fun with a little angel around. We spent Black Friday, not shopping, but making turkey soup and putting up the Christmas decorations. I wasn't sure how much Mia would like this, but she loved it! She liked seeing all the new lights around the house. When it was time to trim the tree she sure wanted to "Help, Help." So she got to put all the ornaments on the bottom half of the tree. She has her own unique style, grouping as many ornaments onto one branch as possible. I thought about moving them once she was asleep, but I think they are pretty cute the way she put them on the tree. She's got her stocking up on the mantle (glad to see mine isn't so lonely this year!). She even put on a Santa hat for a bit. Now of course, she has no idea what all this is for, but neither would most two year olds. It was just a fun day of Christmas music and decorating. Some hot apple cider would've been perfect. I'll have to remember that.
