This will be my last post before I leave for Chi*a. Today I'll finish packing and check and double check all my paperwork. I'll be leaving in the early afternoon on Wednesday. We'll be connecting through Hong Kong and then on to Beijing. If all goes well, we will be in Beijing about 9:00 A.M. on Thursday "back home time", midnight Thursday/Friday Beijing time. (Technically midnight would be Friday morning.) Total travel time from wheels up to wheels down in Beijing, including an hour layover in H.K., assuming all goes as planned-about 19 hours.The next post will be from Beijing. Wish us luck for safe and fast travel, and think happy thoughts that all luggage makes it there in one piece!
